Switch to Hive

Hi,
I was hoping for some advice about replacing a thermostat. Current model is a Hortsmann Channel Plus H17XL wired as shown in the picture below.

Left to right wires are earth, N, L, then numbered 1-6, black wire is in number 4.

I was trying to understand what I would need to do to change to a smart thermostat, probably from hive. The give wiring diagram is below. Any help much appreciated.

The boiler is an Ideal ISAR HE30.

Hortsmann Channel Plus H17XL
4 = N/O
5 = Com
6 = N/C
According to these instructions.
So 4 = 3 on Hive,
and 5 = 1 on Hive.
As far as I can tell Hortsmann Channel Plus H17XL is a programmer not a thermostat, so there may be a thermostat else where.

Thank you. Yes it's a programmer, no thermostat current.

Isn’t the Hive a programmable room thermostat? Also I can’t see a wire in number 5 on diagram, so would there need to be a link from L to com?

Blue wire in N = Hive (N)

Both brown wires in L = Hive (L)

Black wire in 4 = Hive (3) Heating on [this wire is actually being used as a live so it should have a brown sleeve over it to identify it as such]

Add a link between L and (1) Com [you can use the red wire removed from between the Horstmann L & 5]

Put Green / Yellow wires in the Hives' Earth Tether

To be honest, originally I didn't see it either and I was about to tell the OP, there was no way that timeswitch would be working as it is wired now......which prompted me to have a second look & then I spotted it.
