Comrade Bolshevic Boris and the Tories - we like Russian donors

Im no fan of Corbyn, never have been.
thats wrecked your argument. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

That's right those voices like you don't they ;) I guess the voices also implied i implied that? Have a look up at what i said, my point is you are not looking at the whole picture. I think you'll find its a choice of a bowl of sh't or a glass of p1$$. One could argue one easier to down one more nutritious?! Both pretty nauseating.

Oh wait how does it go.. that's your retort obliterated..blown out the water, annihilated, destroyed... and some faux :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Johnson has refused to publish. Obviously he has something to hide.

And backed up by Hilary.. I listened to 5 seconds of her bitter n twisted moan and noticed her axe is now just a whittled splintered wooden shaft with a dubious tide mark on it..

MY issue with Corbyn is he's the other way whilst Trump is a control freak, with Corbyn i see sh't running amok all around him and things just running out of control, i see no credible leadership there. I think that's why Boris does well in polls, he can command but he has other not so appealing qualities yes. I'd prefer someone old school with Stature and control who has a bit more professionalism like Geoffrey Cox.

I don't compare Boris to Trump, whilst both may be strong leaders/Alpha males, mentally they are miles apart. That's like trying to compare/associate Cliff Richard to Rolf Harris way too much smear going on (although i have questioned Cliff's morals myself)

I do agree however the massive holes in our services cannot continue to decline, it almost pains me to say unliberal undemocrat but then i am with the remainers :( /sobs uncontrollably much as i like Jo (fwap) i don't as our leader bleugh she's a primary school teacher at best.

I don't see us financially managing to re nationalise our utilities and rail networks, much as i would love it, then how would it work under labour, would the unions be in charge again.

Anyway apologies for the thread hijack they're all c'S!

We will be able to pay for it. Some of the best rail networks in the world are state owned - Switzerland, Japan, Germany, Canada, and the USA, all have state owned and controlled railways. Not sure America is a good example of a good rail network, but if America thinks state owned is best, then kind of makes a mockery of calling Corbyn a commie for wanting to do the same.

Britain has quite a number of state-owned railways. The British taxpayer subsidises them, and the profits flow back to the government and taxpayer who owns them.

Unfortunately, due to the policies of a previous UK government, the governments which own some of our railway companies are foreign governments, and the taxpayers who benefit from the profits are foreign taxpayers.

Most UK citizens disapprove of this, when they are asked, and support renationalisation of the railways.

Better performance than Southern rail and other franchises.
It's a funny thing about those who harp back to the apparent 'bad old days'.

Take the East Coast line...

Been taken back into public ownership a couple of times, and each time passenger satisfaction and profits rose...
(the latter meaning the treasury benefited rather than shareholders, and therefore everyone benefited)

Each time it went back into private hands, the reverse happened!

And the taxpayer subsidy to the railways as a whole (and thus into private pockets) is about where it was in BR days, having also had periods where it was significantly higher!
