If it's a significant space in a weird position, perhaps you can negotiate with the neighbour, you give them that annoying space and get something in return e.g. a bit that's more useful to you. Or you can just fence it in and use that space to dump the bodies

Thank you, yes, that would be the neatest arrangement , but you wouldn't even need to go as far across as that into the garage with the wall just to square off the sharp corner if space is that critical.

Looking at the plan the horizontal bit on the awkward part is 2mtrs with the total width being about 8mtrs.

I’ll have a measure this weekend and try and see how big it would be. Good idea with the neighbour, that could be a sweetener if I had a gable end against the boundary.
