Hi all
A friend's front garden is pretty wide- double fronted house plus side access to the old coach hose.
He wants to train his wisteria to run from one side of the garden to the other.
The plan is to fit a 3 by 3 post at one and then run a cable to the oak tree at the other end of the garden. The post will be next to a very old and slightly lopsided 9 inch wall. I suggested setting the post in postcrete and then using threaded rods, resin fix and nuts/washers to secure it to the wall which is about 5 ft tall.
I am not convinced that it will be possible to fit the rods first though unless the hole in the ground is made substantially deeper/wider.
If the holes have to be drilled after the post is installed does anyone sell extra long mixing nozzles that will pass through the timber post and into the holes in the wall?nx
