Hello,

I'm looking to connect my dishwasher inlet pipe to one of the existing connections. The existing pipe is a 15mm thread and to fix the dishwasher inlet I need to convert this 15mm threaded pipe to a 3/4inch female so that the dishwasher inlet hose can be connected to it.

I think there are 2 ways of doing this

1. Buy a washing machine valve which is 15mm x 3/4 inch with check valve. Now I need a 15mm to 15mm thread connector (like a socket) I think?

2. Buy a 15mm female to 3/4 inch male adapter/connector so that the 3/4 inch end can directly be connected to the dishwasher.

I'm unable to find both things (1. 15mm to 15mm thread connector or 2. 15mm to 3/4 inch adapter/connector)

Photo of the 15mm thread end that is currently closed by a copper stopper cap is attached.

Can someone please help to find the right connector/adapter ?

You can undo the bottom nut of isolation valve (turning water off of course) and fit one of these to the nut and olive: https://www.toolstation.com/washing...MI-vb0jbqn5wIVia3tCh1x0ACDEAQYDCABEgJcgPD_BwE

Edit: if you want to keep the isolation valve (although not needed) then undo top nut, insert a new nut and olive a short stub off 15mm copper and connect washing machine valve onto that. Easier option is the one me and Ian have given.

This is my first ever plumbing DIY so a little worried with compression fitting and hence was trying an easier way out. Thanks for the input guys. (y)
