It follows a High Court ruling, following the ECJ judgment, in which a walker sued a farmer who left him paralysed after running him over in an uninsured 4x4.

So an English Court made this ruling after an English farmer paralysed an English rambler with an insured 4x4 (i.e not a lawn mower). I fail to see how this is the EU’s fault.

My glasses broke over the weekend must be due to EU bendy specs directive.

When this story was first published in April 2015 - yes, almost 5 years ago - it was mentioned that it was a 43-year-old EU law (now 48 years old).

Is this really all Brexiters can come up with, one law that is almost 50 years old, that probably won't come into effect anyway, and will be practically impossible to enforce?

Everything wrong in their life is the fault of the EU, everything good is due to their own hard work and not society.

RWR mantra.

Sir G with all due respect keep it light or vent your extremist views elsewhere, we are not RWR and there is no Mantra. Personally i don't blame the EU for everything, i do believe in accountability though and i feel we have taken a step closer to holding those accountable, accountable.

Tories are still out there lying every day

the only reason for brexit is because Tory ministers and other MPs have got rich pickings from US business and brexit is the enabler

look at what and who is behind the so called brexit think tanks.

Do you use any Android devices by any chance ? Well now you will be governed by US data laws which are much weaker than GDPR. So how is that taking back control?

GDPR was first proposed by the UK, and my understanding is we will still operate GDPR after brexit, we have to in order to continue trading in Europe. What is your source saying we will be governed by US data laws?
