And your equating a degree of manageable hardship for many, to much more complete hardship for many more, is disingenuous.
Your argument is that we need to avoid economic hardship - is disingenous. You think we can carry on as normal - do we interact with the world? Do we produce all the goods we need? So if the rest of the world is also dealing with this outbreak somehow if we carry on we will not face issues. You think you can avoid a downturn by simply carrying on - sure.
I agree, to a degree. However, delay will cost lives, and what happened to your stance on "experts"? Is it only the experts with which fit in with your own prejudice? (unless you are an expert yourself)?
You seem to willfully not understand what I potsted because it goes against your support of your party. Experts can disagree and all the scientists and views are the same - if the UK has a nuanced and novel approach then share your work - the rest of the world can benefit. As to the cheap jibe am I an expert shows your own lack of actually bringing any proof of your support. If have posted something that is wrong then point it out with your own evidence but it seems you would rather stick to a jibe of me being an expert. Looks like your lack of argument is exposed.
But mostly our society, the rest is just another jibe.
So it's not a fact social services have been cut?
From the link above if you had read it.
We are full of “social patients” – people medically fit to go but who can’t be discharged because there isn’t a place in a care home for them, or the care package to allow them to go home hasn’t been sorted.
