Hi, i have solvite paste the wall paste made up in a bucket as didn't use it all on my last wallpapering project.
I want to know if I can use it on standard vinyl wallpaper or does it have to be the standard paste?

Only reason I ask is that Screwfix are out of stock due to the current situation of all paste and I have this made.
The paper says to let it soak for 5 minutes so will do that, but wanted to make sure the paste would be ok or if not don't want to waste my time.
Thanks.

Does the Vinyl Paper actually specify what sort of Paste to use?

No it just says to paste the paper and leave for 5-8 mins to soak. I didnt know if paste the wall paste was different and not soak into the paper the same but to be honest looks the same in the bucket as normal paste.

itll be fine,

slap it on leave it a few minutes and paper away as normal.

even with paste the wall paper you can use normal paste, and paste the paper as normal.

paste the wall is supposed to be easier for novices, however i'm not convinced.

p.s, if it falls off and you've taken my advice i'll come and re hang it for you..

I think paste the wall is actually harder and more of a pain.
When you past the paper the bottom half is folded out the way until it's needed when as when paste the wall the paper is in the way.
I will give it a try I'm confident it will still work.
Thanks.

completely agree with you, good luck with the decorating :)

Just to let everyone know it worked well. I would just recommend to make sure the edges are soaked well.
Thanks again
