I have the kaercher k4, it's decent and you can see a big difference after cleaning slabs in my garden though I only do it once a year.

Hard to know if it would remove the black stains or not. I imagine it would lighten them but not eliminate them completely.

Yes, we have a Nilfisk too. It's been great over several years and much better than our previous Karcher which barely outlasted the warranty period.

I would suggest you need the patio cleaning attachment as well - circular thing with rotating jets. It makes a better job of it.
Then spray with Patio Magic or similar which keeps the mould in control for months.

How does the circular thing work? Does the jet move brushes or something?

I have a Karcher K7 with the patio cleaning tool. Does a good job. Mind you, I also have a K2 with no patio tool and that does exactly the same job although it takes 5 times longer and is a lot messier.

Thing is a Karcher K7 is £400 or something, if you do your patio every other week then fine but if you only do it once a year or so it's kind of an expensive toy ....

Well with my one I bought the patio cleaner, the telescopic jet pipe and the angled head. I plan to get the rotating car brush and alloy wheel cleaner too. I also planned to regularly clean my gutters facials and car. So far my plan is not working! I watch too much telly, I’m too lazy and ....why hurry, what’s the worry? Plenty of time to do that stuff.
