Benny, they are forum moderators.
Their job is to keep the peace, to ensure that threads do not get out of hand and devolve into bitchfests.
Unfortunately they often do, hence they are locked and/or removed.

He was supposed to have left the country by today to get settled status in his partners country wasn’t he? Despite finding this country an absolute hell-hole to live in, he just couldn’t bear to leave the good ol' UK I suppose.

they must remove posts off them as well as locking them? some appear to be locked with no ‘bitching’.

Correct...I have noticed loads of times...Ellal can say what he likes,,but aggregravate him,rapidly deleted and thread closed.Posts are locked for v little reason at times
