I have a washing machine waste pipe that goes along the back wall beneath the backdoor and we wish to build a small porch just to keep the kids stuff dry. Is there a way the uPVC frame can be cut at a curve so it fits around pipe and flush to wall still?
Yeah most likely, had to do the same for a upvc door recently. As long as the pipes fairly tight to the wall should be ok to cut a 40mm+ notch, but depends on the profile of the section
A waste pipe and bracket is wider than an frame section. If keeping the pipe in the same place you would need to use a suitable depth make up piece (like frame section) to the wall first and the actual frame is fixed to this.
Plumber might be able to remove, cut hole and feed through but it's on the bottom. Along the concrete floor where the base will mount. I attach a picture. Currently there are some bricks laid to raise the floor. But these will be removed as they are only across the door and to the right. They don't go all around this height for the base to sit on. Once removed the floor will then be one height. (I don't want to concrete another inch or so on top to bring high as the pipe as afraid it might break apart or crack up when the base is screwed into it).
Possibly a stupid question, but could you pack the conservatory out from the walls with some 3x2 or similar? Then the pipe goes through the wood. I'd imagine you might have fun with the roof but it seems possible to me.

Put it under the new floor, don't screw the frame into it! Investigate that mess of foam and plywood boxing on the left. You might be able to lower the pipe further depending on gulley height.
make the frame 50 smaller, pack off wall with timber and trim up or use make up piece like Woody says.
do it both sides so both side frames are the same.
no big deal, easy solution.
Personally Id be tempted to fit a bit of timber -just leave a gap where the pipe is, then you only need to scribe the trim around the pipe -easier to get neat.

Yeah that plywood was already there and is covering a concrete coal bunker. This will all be removed. Foam stuff cleared away. Don't think there is a gulley. The previous owners look like they ran the pipe along the wall sat on original concrete base, then added the bricks to raise up the floor slightly so not such a step down.
I was speaking to a friend today and they suggested external self levelling flooring, mask off the area with straight wood and pour the stuff in so the low level is then raised above the waste pipe. Then screw a uPVC porch onto it. Sounds feasible. Would it work?
