smell of smoke in bedroom

Hi, I just bought a semi built in 1986, I have re painted throughout but can smell smoke in the bedroom.

Is it possible that its coming through the wall from next door who seem to be big smokers ?

Check the loft space and under floor where the joists fit in the party wall most likely entry points.

Mastic from a gun or expanding foam (practice application first ) should be ok. It is a very common problem often food smells from neighbours kitchen. Also check any cracks from a chimney breast.
