Render advice for house near woodland

Advice required.

I'm looking to build a 2 story detached house in a woodland setting and wanting any advice on the best external render finish for the ground floor. The rear is mainly North Facing, The North and West are within 10-20m of trees. The South facing front not so much. Block built cavity walls,

Colour has to be white or almost white. I've had a look on the K rend site at the smooth silicone ones and dropped them a message.

Not looked at monocouche yet. I'd like it to be as durable and maintenance free as possible which will be hard with trees close by. Any recommendations?

modern silicone renders are nowhere near as durable or maintenance free as traditional. they’re specifically engineered to be cheap to manufacture and easy to apply on a large scale, sites etc.
for a one off build i’d employ a traditional plasterer who knows his way around sand and cement. it’ll last you 30+ years.
that’s just my opinion.

Sand and cement would then need painted though wouldn't it? I thought the idea of K rend etc was to allow it to be more flexible and prevent cracking compared to traditional sand and cement renders. Silicone renders certainly aren't cheap to buy for the user compared to traditional.

I looked at using roughcast with plenty of lime in to make it lighter but I can just imagine the mould being extremely hard to clean off all them lumps and painting it being just as bad.

Not sure what options are available but smooth finish seems easier.

that’s what I meant, cheap to manufacture and dear to buy and apply.
sand cement renders don’t need or have to to be painted. i certainly wouldn’t roughcast a new build.

There's so many types outside of traditional, I've seen silicone, acrylic, polymers unless that covers them two.
It says acrylic is tougher than silicone but not as good at keeping algae away.

Off white or a light grey is what I'd be looking for. White cement never seems to be as durable as normal grey cement.
What puts me off with traditional and white cements, i often see smooth finishes with hairline cracks after its rained retaining the water.
