custom metal work

i've been trying to get hold of some Aluminium or s/s trim to line a hatchway. Its got to be 50mm wide with approx 30mm edges.

Any idea where to find this? i've phoned dozens of places and can't find anything remotely suitable.

Closest i've got it UPVC 'L' shaped trim to double up with which isn't really what I need.

What do you mean by "wide & edges " ? Plenty of 50mm stainless angle here. stainless steel angle or L angle here https://www.metalsupplies.com/products/stainless-steel-angle/

something like this with the middle bit 50mm and the sides 30mm and not to thick maybe 2-3mm.

Its really just to dress the edges of the hatchway so not looking for anything too heavy/rigid.

Have you tried a local sheet metal workshop? It would be straightforward for them to guillotine and fold some sheet.

You don't indicate whether the 50mm is internal or external
The other dimension could be cut down?
Consider two L shapes? Or 2 L shapes that are 30 mm plus a capping of flat 50mm

yep tried that apparently dimensions don’t fit machine.

actually ordered ( and returned) something similar but that’s very expensive and too heavy duty.
