Wires loose in 1 way switch, 5 brown wires??

Hi, light stopped working in bathroom, checked bulb, then checked switch, found that wires had came loose out of terminal(s).

I can't figure out where the wires go back in. Can't ask electrician round at moment because self isolating, waiting Covid results.

There's no window in bathroom so relying on battery powered LED lights.

Please see picture attached.

Terminals are labelled com, 1way and loop.

There is an extractor fan coming off of it, and the consumer unit switch for 1st floor lighting has smoke alarm label also.

Can anyone please help with this? We have small children and it's really difficult with no lighting to bathroom when it's pitch black in there.

There are 5 brown wires, and one black with brown sleeve.

Can you see the ends of the cables?
I guess you will have one brown/black/grey and the others all brown/blue, is that right?
If so, the brown/black/grey goes to the fan. Forget all the wires from that one for the moment.
I suggest that you connect all of the other brown wires together in the same terminal - any terminal - if they will fit. This will put the lights on permanently, so you can see what you are doing.
Then you will need to work out which wires go the lights and which don’t...
 
Put all the loose brown wires into the com terminal and report back the results.
 
Is there only the one switch for these lights? If so, you can ignore the 2way and loop terminals.
How many lights are there?

If all the 5 browns are put together into either the loop or L2 terminals they will not connect to the switched line ( black with brown sleeve) and light will not work !!
 
It's the switched line and will energise whatever it's connected to ,directly or indirectly. Probably both the light fitting and fan.

Done it. Bathroom light permanently on, extractor activates with switch.

So, light switch turns extractor on and off but light does not go off.

Yes ,one of the 5 browns is the switched line to the light ,and needs to go into the same terminal as the black with brown sleeve ( which is the switched line to the fan).
One of your pics shows one loose brown conductor ,it's that one that needs to go in the same terminal with the black / brown sleeve.

Yes, easiest to find it by trial and error. If you get the wrong one it will probably affect a different room, or something.

When you’ve got it sorted, make sure the terminals are done up tight so it doesn’t happen again.

I note there are screws and caps still in place in the faceplate....
 
One weird thing though...

The fan now no longer has a delay. It was 10 minutes before. Now it's instantly off with the switch. It still had the delay before when it worked with the switch, when the light was stuck on.

I made sure it wasn't stuck on too, switched it off at its own switch, then back on again and it didn't come back on until the switch was flicked on.
