Want to have some backup roof tiles in case I break a few.

Looking around lead time on MARLEY WESSEX roof tiles is 8+ weeks.

Ones on Ebay seem to be pick up only.

Has anyone got any ideas, of ways around this?

I have literally just had the same challenge with the same Wessex tiles. A lot of suppliers were saying the same for delivery times. I used the Marley website and thankfully my 4th closest supply had the 1350 I needed in stock and they were delivered yesterday :D

Are you looking for brown or grey? I got mine (grey) from Stormspell in Southport...no idea where you are.

I'm about to have about 800 used brown ones coming off my roof if you're nearby Liverpool.

@kingandy2nd That's very good of you, nowhere near Liverpool I'm afraid down in Stroud, Gloucester.

Hope your managing OK in Liverpool.

Are there really none in any local merchants?

Ask a regional Marley rep if he has made any sales to local sites as "you want to see what they look like". Visit site. They will be either free or at a bit of a premium depending on your choice of acquiring them.

Thanks, all good for us here in Liverpool. Trust it's the same for you. Sorry I can't be of more help.

That's what the merchants have been telling me too. Covid has affect the supply chain, especially for Marley.

One merchant said that those with stock are holding onto it for regular customers, and/or are not selling certain items in isolation because they'd rather sell whole roof systems.

I wanted everything Marley, but ended up with ridge tiles from Redland, and felt and valleys from other suppliers because they just couldn't guarantee when they'd be able to get the Marley products.

Glad to hear it yeah we are fine but covid is effecting supplies, also had to wait 6 weeks for concrete fencing to arrive.

I managed to get some tiles ordered for Monday after working the phones and e-mail .

Great news. Yep, we had the same problem with fencing too. Perhaps we should start a support group :)
