Has anyone fitted the carbons sold on Ebay as "Miele Genuine Original" brushes? They are about a quarter of the price of buying the complete OEM part, but are clearly not an original part being thicker and shorter. If you have fitted these, are they any good?
Thanks for any replies.

Not sure what brushes have to do with Moisture sensor? Try appliance forum.?

Last week, neither did I, but we live and learn. This is from a supplier selling the OEM part: "These carbon brushes are very important in communicating the level of humidity in your dryer, so your dryer knows when the clothes are dry and it can stop heating. However, when your dryer starts malfunctioning, and you find that your clothes are still wet after a cycle, then your carbon brush on the sensor is damaged. This original Miele replacement carbon brush will have your dryer working as new."

Another time I will post on the correct forum, but I do not want to post twice. Could it be moved?

If they are thicker and shorter, they probably won't fit.
