The focus of this deal was always goods. Once we decided we did not want to be part of the four freedoms of movement of goods, services, capital and labour we needed to negotiate what we wanted most and that was free movement of goods (well there will be more friction and regulations ).
Fishing is 0.1% of the UK economy. Most of the profits go to a handful of billionaires, and foreign owners.
Services is 80%.
Guess which Boris pretended was important.
Fish is worth less than lawnmowers or prostitution.
Financial services...one of our biggest areas of trade.

OK, it will be difficult to sell car insurance in Paris, but FFS the way they drive, is that a bad thing?
And still will be. Most of Europe's financing is done via London, London is the main clearing centre for the Euro, up to 900 billion a day. Maybe in 10 years time Frankfurt could elevate itself to that capability but it's extremely unlikely
