Why didnt we join the EU procurement effort to secure PPE equipment ?
Well they marshalled their resources and buying power to procure all they need.

I'm intrigued, if this scheme has proven successful, why are Doctors in Germany and France 'demonstrating' about the lack of PPE equipment.

They might be struggling as much as us, or more, or less but still being short. It seems to be GPs and care homes that are short there, which we're also doing badly on. No mention of hospitals running out but that doesn't prove anything.

Even if it is underperforming, how much worse or better is it underperforming than our attempts? Would we have been able to get more if we'd joined that scheme as well as pursuing our own attempts?

It simply highlights that this is a global problem (possibly excepting the far east) rather than being caused by a political party, I thought a few people needed a reminder of that.

Tories sat on their arrises for weeks allowing Cummings to convince them herd immunity was the solution, when they couldve got some PPE and done some contact tracing
oh and those countries that acted fast and instantly locked down: already coming out of lockdown
I thought a few Tory supporters needed a reminder of the facts :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

You really need to see a doctor mate, honestly, go now before it's too late.

Wrong
it is entirely to the point

you said this is a 'global pandemic, not the govts fault', I said (quite correctly) it was the govts fault, they were too slow and made wrong decisions.
