Have a couple of these cooker outlets (part code K5061WHI) in our kitchen, and being MK they cost upwards of £23 each. Of the four neons, one is dead, one is dying, one is flickering like mad, and only one is left working. They are a push fit into the back which suggests MK might do replacements but I can't find any trace. Anyone know if they do?

If not, I'll get some neons, dropping resistors, and solder/heat-shrink my own replacements on. Not gonna spend over £45 fixing them that's for sure!

Thanks.

Thanks. Looks like it might be 17270SS from it's description, but hardly any hits on the net to actually buy. Think I'll run with the £4 solution of making my own by the look of things!
Try contacting an electrical wholesaler. It will be a special order.

I had a similar need and found some LED indicators (which are claimed to have a much longer life) of similar design in a range of colours. I have an idea it might have been a German supplier on Ebay but presumably made in China. I linked to the suppliers online catalogue.

There must surely be millions of these used every day in appliance factories.

Like this but 6mm or 8mm or thereabouts and probably trade at about 50p a thousand.

They were more expensive with wire pigtails and I was annoyed when I clumsily pulled one out.

Just to close the loop on this, the orange neons I got from ebay arrived this morning and I've just soldered them to the original wires/clips and insulated with heat shrink sleeve. These miniature neons are just the right size to get into the cavity where the lens is.

Thanks all.
