ecoTec 937 + VRC430 :: Is a Nest worth it?

I currently have an ecoTec 937 with a VRC430 compensator thermostat.

Is it worth installing a Nest Thermostat? Will it improve the efficiency of the system overall, or is it just a glorified way to turn the temperature knob via the phone?

Any thoughts welcome!

Unlikely to improve efficiency, the only advantage for you would be an Internet connection
