Help. I live in a 10 year old house, all Hep20 15mm plumbing pipe and we're refitting the en-suite and want to swap the toilet and sink position. In order to do so I need to move / extend the hot pipe to go where the toilet was to give me my feed for the basin.
My question is this, is it allowed to simply put a 90° adapter on the hot and fix to the wall using pipe clips and extend to where I need it or do I have to rip up the floor to get to the pipes? Basically I tried taking up the chipboard floor but it has partition walls on the large chipboard boards and when I cut a section out using a plunge saw it still won't come up as I think the builders have not only screwed from the top but possibly glued / screwed from underneath so it's not moving at all! I could take the ceiling down in the lounge below but that was very recently decorated so wanted to avoid doing so if possible!
Just wanted to see if I am breaking and regulations but doing everything above the floor rather than through the joists!?
Cheers
