Using postcrete on patio stones

My friend wanted to use postcrete over an old concrete path and over his old patio. I assumed he should have used normal cement but he didnt listen. Will they stay in place?

Should he have taken old patio stones up and removed old cement to hardcore then laid a new dryish layer of cement then new stones on this?

Will look better when pointed, you will need 2 tonne of sand and 20 bags of cement and maybe hire a power float.

This was my mate's job. His house. I was curious so helped him. He knows about the string line but doesn't care. Next is to point in between and put these white decorative stones in.

He reckons with this and the decking should increase the value of the property.

Before it was waste land.

1. So your mate is worse than you.
2. You didn't help in any way if anything you have made it worse, we have seen your work before.
3. Know's about a string line...............doubt it.
4. The work that has been done will devalue the property.
5. It still looks like waste land.
