For the last two years police and internet companies across the UK have been quietly building and testing surveillance technology that could log and store the web browsing of every single person in the country.

To all those shouting Freedom and Liberty - why don't you have some of this web snooping tool to record all your online activity.

(y)

The nothing to fear, nothing to hide brigade - please list your name and home address.

Are you saying that you do have something to fear and something to hide then?

List your name and address on here. Do you have something to fear and hide?

Whilst you are at it and your kids names and addresses.

If you don't then you are a hypocrite. If you are so warped in supporting this then you do not value your privacy.

Can I set up a camera in your living room?

Name a country that isn’t doing something “secretly” G.
Blimey Brexit not panning out as you predicted, I take it.
:):):)

I wonder if the agreement would encompass some sort of cooperation with domestic VPN providers? Surely it would have to? Whilst there would still be benefits in running a VPN, some of that is surely reduced if a government body is storing your Internet history whether you want them to or not.

I'm most alarmed . Only this morning I was surfing the Screwfix site.... Could they share this information?

I heard that the likes of google record every site you visit, and everything you write on any of them anyway.
I don't know whether or not that's true, but I don't care, Fck them.

One should always be fearful of internet stalkers demanding personal information...

Whether that be from the state or individuals!

If you wish not to have a private life, then just say that.

Edit: But it goes further than that...

I'm pretty certain most people at one time in their life will have felt so against something that they wish to protest.

This in conjunction with the new anti protest laws proposed will effectively help remove any dissent against an increasingly dictatorial state!
