Hello.

I hope you're all keeping safe and well.

So basically, I'm looking to have a wardrobe frame that is 200cm wide by 230 cm tall. The floor to ceiling measurement is 233cm.

I can get close to what I want from Ikea for £400 but I have a few issues with it:
1-They only do heights of 220 (180 + 40)
2-They must have internal walls.

I want something like this but at a height of 230cm, and without internal walls:

Is there a company that can supply finished wood in my sizes at an equivalent price? I don't mind drilling new holes here and there.

Thanks all.

What do you mean by finished wood? You are looking for carcass only? No doors?

Something I don't have to paint. I don't want pure sheets of MDF, for example.

I do want doors, but to be honest, I reckon I can get doors from anywhere as long as I have a standard-ish size

If you are in Manchester or Sheffield give Hills Panel Products (HPP) a ring - they will be able to supply pre-(edge) banded MFC (melamine faced chipboard) in a variety of widths and colours, including wood grain print. They can also cut standard lengths (2440mm long) to your required size for a small fee. AFAIK they don't do veneered boards. They also manufacture vinyl wrapped MDF doors in both standard and bespoke sizes (made in house at Oldham), and sell a full range of bedroom and kitchen hardware (screws, fixings, handles, firework, etc). They are a trade supplier, so they only operate Monday to Friday (or they did last time I was there), but they will handle small orders. There may well be similar firms in other parts of the UK

You could buy the wardrobes and cut them down. I've done this. Crazily it's cheaper than buying the timber from B&Q and better quality too.

To reduce the height just cut 10cm from the top of the sides and the back board. Clamp the cut off pieces to the remaining board and use them as a template to drill the new holes for the top. It's probably a 6mm hole for the dowels and 4mm for the cam lock bolts.

I'm gonna be honest, I didn't realise B and Q did "White Fully edged Chipboard Furniture board".

I was thinking of buying that and cutting to size but yes, I could cut taller wardrobes, I dunno why I never thought of that. Thanks. I don't see how it would be cheaper than the B&Q material though.

left edge and right edge: 230cm tall x 50cm wide x 2
Base, shelf, and roof: 210cm x 50cm deep x 3

Plus back, plinth, doors, rails, hardware.

The Ikea stuff is fully edged and the better quality cupboards use a thick 2mm edging which is much more hard wearing. Most Contiboard / furniture board is only edged on the long sides (although yours says fully edged).
