'Vaccine' shortage...

Whether delaying the lockdowns was the right or wrong thing to do, i don't see Boris taking pleasure in the number of deaths.
No-one has suggested he does.
His motto is to do as little as possible, and to do it as slow as possible, unless it's in his interest. Then it gets sorted PDQ.

Flip that argument on it's head and think about it...

Concentrating supplies in the country or origin means more of 'their friends' and 'their neighbours' will live.
(if of course you believe in the 'vaccines')

Do you see that as a bad thing?

So what's your problem?

Do you value your life and the lives of your friends/neighbours above theirs just because 'they' happen to be 'foreigners'?

Divide and rule is alive and well.
In fact it's now on steroids!
I absolutely value my life and the lives of my family, friends, neighbours, or countrymen over the lives of people i've never met and have no connection with.

If you say you don't, then you're either heartless or a liar.

That doesn't mean that i don't value the lives of the people i don't have any connection with, just that i value others more.

If i have to chose between the death of member of my family, a friend, a neighbour or a countryman,

I appreciate it is frustration for you when people that you perceive to be Brexiteers or Right Wing express any kind of pleasure over EU problems.

It is equally frustrating when you express what appears to be pleasure over something that is going to affect our family, friends, neighbours and countrymen in a negative way.

Is this another argument based on a false premise?

No, its an observation against an earlier post by Ellal that i think you've missed.
I must have. Where or what was that post?

What comment of ellal's caused you to make that deduction?

Good points Well made.

Good...

They are maybe now thinking about prioritising their own citizens instead of the profits!

Blinkered vaxxers are no doubt going to bleat about how unfair it is, but guess what...

The pendulum swings both ways, and a small country like the UK will in the end reap what it sowed!

So in your opinion, posted below, you consider that ellal takes "pleasure over something that is going to affect our family, friends, neighbours and countrymen in a negative way."?

What bit, exactly from ellal's post do you think he takes pleasure in others' negative consequences?

I think your deducing ability is seriously flawed.
It looks to me as though you have a disagreement with ellal, and you resort to silly comments because you have failed to present a coherent argument.

As ever, context is all. I was trying to have a civil discussion with Ellal who replied to my comment and i didn't see it until this morning.

I assume you're trying to twist this discussion into something it's not as a reaction to a discussion that ended up being about you on another thread. But i'm not going to engage with you because i don't think we're likely to agree and you'll just keep posting until i get bored and then you'll think you've 'won'.

So what did you think his comment referred to?
Or are you admitting that you didn't know?
Or are you doing a dumberplum, and wanting to bale out because you haven't a clue what you're talking about?
And you refuse to admit that you were mistaken?
Or is it as I suspected and you had a disagreement and resorted to silly insults?

Bojo said we should take it on the chin and the best thing to do was to ignore it.

Delaying lockdows lead to a larger loss of life.

Another straw man argument. You do like these devices to defend the indefensible.

Did he ever say we should take it on the chin and ignore it? When?

My original point was that my perception was Ellal taking pleasure in something negative happening to the UK. Your response was that Boris did the same, which i don't think he has ever done.

I don't see the strawman, i see you trying to turn twist the discussion into something its not.
