'Vaccine' shortage...

You seem pleased that the UK, our country, is going to have its vaccine programme slowed.

That means more of our friends and neighbours will die.

Do you see that as a good thing?

Tell Boris that when he delayed the lockdowns.

Good...

They are maybe now thinking about prioritising their own citizens instead of the profits!

Blinkered vaxxers are no doubt going to bleat about how unfair it is, but guess what...

The pendulum swings both ways, and a small country like the UK will in the end reap what it sowed!

I suppose we could threaten them with nukes?

Flip that argument on it's head and think about it...

Concentrating supplies in the country or origin means more of 'their friends' and 'their neighbours' will live.
(if of course you believe in the 'vaccines')

Do you see that as a bad thing?

So what's your problem?

Do you value your life and the lives of your friends/neighbours above theirs just because 'they' happen to be 'foreigners'?

Divide and rule is alive and well.
In fact it's now on steroids!

The CEO of SII (the indian company making the vaccine) says that the delay is down to the Indian government preventing further exports of the vaccine at the moment.
He said it's down to USA preventing exports of materials needed in the supply chain.
The Serum Institute of India (SII) - which produces Novavax and AstraZeneca vaccines - recently raised concerns about raw material shortages.
Its chief executive, Adar Poonawalla, attributed this to US export bans on specific items needed to make vaccines, such as specialised bags and filters.

You shouldn't take any notice of your source of information. Is it sxturbo by any chance? :ROFLMAO:

My sources have been absolutely fine mate, not sure what your on about.

Why don't you go and complain o. The Screwfix forum ...... Oh yeah they like you yes than DIY not does

@Vinty

Your clip says that 10million doses have been sent from EU to UK; and UK has been able to vaccinate about 25million people (thanks, EU, we appreciate your help). UK has not exported any. Do you foresee this pattern continuing?

There were a few racist comments which Screwfix quite rightly deleted.
So evidently there are some racists on Screwfix also.
Maybe the thread was locked to prevent the racists from repeating their behaviour. Kind of protecting them from their own poor behaviour.

So Indian government is doing what the EU want to do and people on this thread are complaining about.

What part of the contract stitches up AZ?
Britain has yet to disclose how many doses of any coronavirus vaccine it has exported beyond its borders, although it has committed funding to the global COVAX distribution scheme.
"These six last weeks, 41 million doses have been exported [from the EU] to 33 countries. And this shows that Europe is trying to make international cooperation work," von der Leyen said Wednesday. "But open roads run in both directions. And this is why we need to ensure that there is reciprocity and proportionality."
Britain, he added, had “legally signed a contract for delivery of the first 100 million doses here for people in the U.K.,” describing the Oxford/AstraZeneca jab as “a U.K.-funded, U.K.-delivered vaccine.”

As I said already, UK's contract with AZ ensured the UK's requirement was met first, from any source.
UK does not need to overtly 'block' exports, it's contract implicitly does so anyway.

Additionally, UK has promised money to Covax, but there's no spare vaccines to be bought. Clever propaganda: "give 'em the money (which they can't spend) but they can't have our vaccines."

For the short term, we have in place factories that are gearing up and it has been stated the should come online later in q2/Q3.

The vaccines produced by them will be exported where needed from what I've read
