In my view, a large number of old statues and the like should be removed from public prominence. I've no definite idea of how old, it probably depends on what and who, But most of these people become irrelevant to modern society. I mean, Cecil Rhodes; I don't have strong opinions on his political life - those were different times and different standards - but is he really relevant today? I'm not saying, necessarily, melt him down. Just move him somewhere out the way.

he is very relevant to Oxford University, just because he did things over a 100 years ago that we don't approve of now does not make him a bad person.
