I thought this was the party of crime and punishement. They are more interested in statues than protecting women.

The Policing Bill has passed and soon the voter suppression bill.

So not only will voting become more difficult so will protesting.

A Government of the people but only voted in by 29.4% of the electorate.

For a country of 66.8m people with 47.6m voters - 14m people voted Tory - so we are ruled by the minority.

The losers are lucky really. The majority who won, only got 59% of the seats. That leaves 41% to be shared out amongst the losers. Pretty generous I'd say. Careful what you wish for whilst eating yourself.

In some countries afaik it is compulsory to vote perhaps they should consider that in the UK

Alternative Vote system.


If they make voting compulsory then they must also abolish the whip system and prohibit MPs from abstaining.

Also, at elections they must ensure that at least one of the candidates is competent.
