Get this in perspective. Doctors dealing with people's health don't know what they're doing or do poor job more often than you think. This is people's health. And happens all the time. Through incompetence , laziness and neglect. Speak to foreign doctors who've left the nhs and now speak honestly about what goes on.
Bit more important than some timber and masonry isn't ? Of course you should try and do your best and try on whatever jobs you do but I think you need a reality check to get this in perspective.
You obviously haven't seen some of the work I've seen from so called' tradesman' particularly foreign ones done Brit ones too.

If you are saying that your carpentry skills are better than a doctors then that might be true. The photos that you have loaded on here show a standard of workmanship that I, as a DIY home improver, would be absolutely ashamed of. I had not realised that you were charging people for this, I assumed that you were a beginner at DIY!

I've decided after asking some people to plane the back of last 30cm of skirting on first picture and then feather it in then on second picture to either use a plinth block or return mitre. I'm looking into how to do that.

I'll be honest and say that you'll struggle to get any sort of decent "look" to the skirtings in that box room. The one think I might consider is to pull the skirtings off, cut some rips of 6 to 10mm thick MDF, plant them onto the door casing with a minor set back then refix the architraves. At least that would allow you to install the skirting without the need to feather in the end
