I have a brand new Beko xdg621k freestanding gas cooker which has 2 pipes on the back of it and would like to know which one is for connection to natural gas.
To Baths & Gas, I wasn't going to touch it,I am getting a gas engineer to fit it.I wanted the information as I may need to move a cupboard for a gas pipe extension, so the sarcastic comment wasn't needed at all. If you can't be professional then don't comment.
Unless it has a hose with a bayonet fitting, then it's not a DIY job. (Even with a bayonet fitting, it's questionably not a DIY job)
That's just the nature of dealing with Gas,
Make a mess with water - wet carpet
Make a mess with hot water - scald yourself
Make a mess with electricity - kill yourself
Make a mess with gas - kill yourself, collapse your house, and your neighbours, perhaps killing them too.
The stakes with gas are high, that's why it's not DIY.
I wasn't doing it by myself, I have a gas engineer coming I just wanted to know as may have to remove a cupboard for engineer to extend fitting to other side to where mine is now.

Please don't feel victimised. There is a reason why questions on here about gas queries get short shrift responses.
As you have gathered, DIY gas is a very bad idea!
If it was known from your original post that a cupboard needed to be modified, the answers might have been more restrained.
However, even then, if a member gave advice about connections, you could then decide to DIY with unfavourable consequences.
Please understand why there is caution and why these are the forum rules.
Other than that, you might want to read the manual; if I was to pick a page at random, maybe 19?
