Old ceiling batten bulb holder wiring...

I took the old bulb holder out hoping to replace with a new flush light fitting, but I do not see an earth wire. To be honest , the wiring is probably over 50 yrs old!
As I cannot use the metal fitting I bought, I would just like to fit a new batten holder, but I have no idea where the wires go as there were no signs or labels on the old piece- I have just clamped the wires in the three sections they came out of it..
2 black, 2red & 1 black, 1 red.
This is in a cloakroom which has a pull cord for turning the light on and off.

Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Have you looked closely for earth wires?

There may be some bare earth wires twisted together and pushed up the ceiling hole.

If you read the original post the author says "I have just clamped the wires in the three sections they came out of it." so I would presume he already knows that the Wagos are new.

If you have another 3 port wago that would be better than a 5 port

The point is the 3 reds need to remain connected together. Tape is not suitable for this. Also tape dries up and falls off in time.

Sorry for the confusion everyone, the 3 wires together are 2 red and 1 black, as per the photos.
What's happened now is that the toilet light is now all sorted but the bedroom ceiling light will not switch on.... Its the room next to the toilet.

So the problem obviously lies with the 2 red and 1 black not being connected to anything I am guessing...

Yes they are

Check their connections at the wago ,ensuring the copper conductors are clamped . Also check the the two black neutrals are connected in whatever terminal they are now in ,their two copper conductors must be tightly connected to each other

Thank you Terryplumb. It was indeed a wire that wasn't connected properly in one of the wagos. Both room lights now working. Much appreciated you're a star!
