Thanks for the help earlier in the week on fixing my fence.
Its 90% back together now I've got every thing ready to go but I haven't filled the holes back in yet ontop of the post crete.
I'd really like to paint the fence a nice green or grey colour as it's a 10 year old wooden panel fence.
Should I stain the base of the posts first with a wood preserver, can I then paint ontop of them or will fence paint also act like a natural preservative? Then soil backfilled to the bases.
A neighbour suggested using old motor oil.
