Being able to go in a pub and when questioned just say you were 18 without then having to produce ID
 
Re driving through city centres, I remember well driving down to Ludlow. There was no bypass, so in those days, you drove through the high streets of Tarporley, Whitchurch and Shrewsbury.

Similarly, going to Cornwall for Summer hols, I remember Mum waking us up before 4am and doing an 11-12 hour drive from Stockport. I remember having to crawl through countless town and city centres. Deathly dull.

No wonder we were a generation of "Are we there yet?" kids!

Travelling around Europe when there were border controls and stamps in passports. ( for those old enough to have known Europe before the countries lost their individual identities in the EU )
 
just wondering what european countries we needs visa`s for now and what ones dont allow us in duty free shops
