As I've said, probably repeatedly, your own bigotry is getting in your way of making a rationale judgement of the situation.And no, I'm not convinced all those coming across were genuinely fleeing something in the first place. And no, I don't have evidence/stats etc to back that up.
You claim to have empathy, but at the same time you state:

If things aren't up to scratch for you, here's an idea. Buy a boat and get yourself back over to France.
There is evidence that about 60% of asylum claimants are accepted as genuine (by the UK). Do you want to be the one that sends an unsuccessful asylum seeker back to a death sentence?
