Even Keir doesn’t want 'open borders' to help the NHS.

Only because we haven't got an efficient system. Its what is needed.

What other choice is there? Everything else is just arguing about who they are or where they are from, not about right to stay or be returned.

No efficient system will work. You are dealing with criminals who will break the rules and come here whatever.

Migrants throwing stones at French police stopping the channel crossings. Surely this behaviour should negate anyone's claim to asylum - what say you?

You've told us on several occasions how you would treat asylum seekers. It wasn't pretty, nor brave, nor sensible, nor legal.

How institutionalised you sound to think there is no other choice.

We are faced with only two choices of political party, both equally awful; and the obstacles facing any other party, if there was a decent one, are insurmountable. Democracy is dead in our country. I am certain that Labour will win at the next General Election, and then all will be hope, peace and light - for a short time only though, when we realise that the same problems are occurring and so we will vote the Tories back in, and so on and so on.

Only some form of revolution could save us.

The people of Sri Lanka recently overthrew their government. That government had so crippled the economy with Net Zero and Covid restrictions as to cause food shortages and widespread destitution. The people found out where individual politicians lived, went round to their houses and literally ran them out of the country. In Romania not so long ago, the people killed the corrupt ruler (Caucescu) and his wife. Further back in time in our own history we chopped off a king's head.
Call to arms again?

Things could be better here I think we can all agree.

But bad enough for that? Not yet.

Chase all the politicians out, and what happens then? What is it that you are actually proposing? Or are you just saying you don't like the Government or its potential replacement, but have nothing else to offer in their place?

No, in my book its a criminal act and they should be prosecuted. Not sure we have any jurisdiction over what happens in France though ?

Yes it is, we are being robbed left, right and centre.

I don't have all the answers - do you really expect me to? I am not Noseall or Denso you realise.

Things didn't work out too well for the Sri Lankans; what they have now is arguably worse that what they overthrew.

If only people would take action instead of talk. The latest nonsense is that the Police say that cannot intervene when a migrant walks into the home of a Dover resident - as has happened - because it is a civil matter. Why aren't the people of Dover taking action, blockading roads, hounding their MPs and Police chiefs, restricting the movements of the Coast Guard or Navy etc etc?

Mob rule works.

Here's one for you. Blair and co clearly got it under control quickly LOL these things end when countries settle down

Actually Boris said he was proud of the number of Syrians settled here - and they still keep coming.

Mob rule works only in countries where people have nothing to lose.
The good folk of Dover have plenty.

The context was - before we blame others for letting them die, we should remember they chose to leave a safe country on a vessel unfit for the passage.

Not if it's a case of the Government intentionally manipulating the system and accommodation failures to create and intensify anti-refugee sentiment.
That's blatant manipulation of the electorate, very Trumpesque style.
"Not" to what?

What manipulation?
How would ballsing up accomm intensify antipathy towards refugees? If they wanted that there's plenty of immediate material, on those running into the bushes, or appearing on the prison lists.

The gangs operating the migrant network do not offer much choice. Sometimes forcing migrants into an overloaded boat at gunpoint leaves no room for negotiation, wouldn't you say?
