Is it usually possible to change the toilet fill valve on this type of toilet without splitting the toilet. Will a box spanner or something else? Possibly fit? Thanks

If I have to split I'll need a 2inch donut washer does anyone know if it's a concaved rubber one or foam?

Thanks the make and model of toilet. Thanks

Depends on the space inside the cistern. Best bet would be to take your float valve to a plumbers merchant to match it or supply a compatible alternative.
