Rightwing Backlash

They're allowed to express opinions as far as they like without resorting to dog-whistle phrases such as comparisons with Nazi's.
Godwin's Law has really jumped the shark this weekend.
It was Gary Muppet Lineker who got to Godwin's Law first.

I wonder if any BBC presenter would ever say "sounds like something Jimmy Saville would say" .....

If you don't or wont accept what was written, and not what you think he said, or wanted him to say, then nothing else will change your mind.

What surprises me most is that you refuse to accept that. You aren't generally that 1 sided in your viewpoint.

I can't change that. Only you can.

You sure?

Hitler allied himself with leaders of German conservative and nationalist movements, and in January 1933 German President Paul von Hindenburg appointed him chancellor. Hitler’s Third Reich had been born, and it was entirely fascist in character. Within two months Hitler achieved full dictatorial power through the Enabling

Kind of makes sense, 'Hitlers holiday camp' was always a story that intrigued me.

I saw what he wrote, ok,
... language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s, ....
which I've commented on several times.
You haven't said anything up to now about me reading it wrongly.

Now you're saying that I have to consider that it was OK for him to say it, is that right?
And you're conflating it with something you haven't even hinted at explaining, about the BBC bloke bringing the co into disrepute.
Which is it, of these totally different things?

It seems you're confused about what you're being dark and mysterious about but can't explain.

It looks like a knee-jerk response which under analysis amounts to nothing. Is that right?
If so, it has something in common with Lineker's.

if you refuse to understand the difference between what was written, and what you are trying to imply was written, then nothing I, or anybody else, say will make the blind bit of difference to you.

so you crack on. Think as you want. But I never had you down as so blind and pig headed before. But times change, just not sure why.

We're all cracking on with recognising you and Brig as a pair of nutjobs. We know what was said, we know what was implied, we know what was inferred.

But best of all, we ******* know what Nazis are.

pity you can't actually UNDERSTAND what was written.

I would never expect you to waver from total Tory defence regardless of the facts. But others, I would.

and we all know what nazis are

Why do you dare to suggest I'm defending Tories, I'm not, I'm speaking up for right minded people everywhere who despise Nazis ...... and ..... who are leaping to defend the genocide committed by them.

Do you not think it's just a teeny bit sick?

False argument filly.

You cannot even comprehend what was actually written.

You are trying and failing to conflate 2 different things.

A Tory stooge, aka a useful idiot

Oh, well that;s OK then, jolly hockey sticks.

What language did he align, was it not the 'language of the party'?

**** me, are you seriously saying it's right and proper to align the Govt with the Nazis who killed 6 million jews?, really? seriously?

You're as sick as noseall.
Lineker is guilty of trivialising the suffering of millions of people during WW2.
By comparing the treatment of illegal immigrants to victims of the Nazis, he is implying that the suffering of the victims of the Nazis is comparable to an illegal immigrant living in a hotel in the UK.
