Coving

Hi, it’s this one from Screwfix. The projection from the wall and drop from the ceiling is 84mm

If it's a larger room, the joints might prove tricky to get a good, even match with such short lengths.

That one looks like 80mm drop on wall and 80mm projection out onto the ceiling. Is that correct?

A 127mm mitre block will be 84 mmm.

That's a pain but you can find something to pack
Place a 4mm packer in the block and then it will work.
Looking at reviews some use the 84mm block and run with it and I guess they just fill the joints.

You can use chop saw to cut.
I'm not getting that out but you stand coving up 80mm. It's sits on base 80mm out.
Like this. Although this is not a chop saw

Actually the 127 mm box is 82mm across. I mark down wall 84mm to allow for 2mm adhesive.

So that maybe your best bet. Just buy a 127mm plastic block and go with it. 2mm different is close enough

Honest, over the years there are so many different sizes of coving but very few blocks to guide cut. I've had to make one up or modify to get it to work

Thank you for all of the tips and taking the time out to explain :)
