Loft Conversion Staircase

Hi.
We’re currently considering a loft extension. Not able to get hold of any tradesmen at the moment as they just seem so busy!, but would you say I have enough clearance for a double winder staircase to fit into the space I have (see attached pic).

Get yourself onto the Stairbox website and design your staircase, it will tell you if it complies or not, don't forget the headroom which is also quite difficult to work out, stairs are the key to a compliant loft conversion with limited space. Don't forget stairs can actually be very narrow say 650mn and still comply OK.

I would recommend you employ an architectural technician to put you a decent set of drawings together, there's a thread explaining the process I could probably find if you're interested.
