Todays Wordle confusion

I did today's Wordle and the answer was surprising as it was an acronym rather than a word, and one of the words forming the acronym was the f-word.

yeah, I failed today. Very much an Americanism that I have never considered to be a word.

Where are you off to? Reading today about Barcelona now being the latest place to rail against cruise ships, seems plenty of places are not too keen on them.

Just Med, Marseilles and 4 stops in Spain.

Including an overnighter in, you’ve guessed it, Barcelona.
Are they actually taking action?
I know Venice had banned the bigger ones, and we are going on Arvia, which is mahoosive.

yeah, I failed today. Very much an Americanism that I have never considered to be a word.

I got it on the 5th or 6th. SNAFU !.

I entered it with no real expects of getting it correct. A quick Google says it is in the dictionary, but is listed as “slang”, and the Wordle rules state no slang words!

It is very much based on an American dictionary.

Common British words are often rejected.
