ALDE COMPACT 3000

Has any one experience of changing a Over Heat Stat on a Alde Compact 3000 Caravan water heater, how easy or hard is it ? the heater is located underneath the front seats, looks like access could be a pain.
Stat keeps popping out but water is the correct temp.

No experience at all, but a bit of research suggests it might be due to the combustion fan being faulty..

So either the overheat trip, is tripping at too low a temperature, or the normal stat is failing to switch off at the correct temperature.

If the latter is adjustable, she could try as a temporary fix, turning that down a touch.
