Russia entered the war after it saw that Japan was effectively defeated, in order to invade some islands.
They took no part in the defeat of Japan.
It is truer than you know.

I can see from a quick wikipedia skim that he studied greylag geese and jackdaws and I confess I'm not very well read on the behaviour of greylag geese and jackdaws, however it's very well observed, known and understood that in primates such as chimpanzees and gorillas (our closest relatives) inter-group aggression including fatal violence is common and males will specifically seek out the offspring of rival males to kill.
