if you look at USAs share or global gdp it is reducing at a similar rate to EU

the EU is a global economic superpower with a gdp similar to USA and China
the EU is a top trading partner for every major global economy
the EU is the top trading partner for over 80 countries
would this be happening if EU was in decline:
there are 35 giga factories being built across the EU to cater for the future of electrics vehicles

Tesla is expanding its car factories in Germany

The EU foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, has been speaking in Brussels where EU leaders are meeting. He says the bloc must send a "message of support" to the Russian opposition. Members are expected to discuss new sanctions against Moscow at today's meeting, planning to have them in place by the two year anniversary of the war in Ukraine. Borrell also proposed that the EU rename its human rights sanctions regime, which targets individuals and entities responsible for serious human rights violations, in the late Navalny's name.

I wouldnt say the economy is doing fine though, its gdp growth is happening due to state spending on military
