Starmer cancels £40m Chopper contract.
Another frittering of our money by the Tories.
Badly reported.
They have chosen not to renew the contract.
Very different from cancelling a contract

Murdochat, do you have a short memory?
Do you not remember the Conservatives and their client media s framing constantly about “Labour will raise taxes”
Labour couldn’t be honest about raising taxes because the Tories would’ve used it as an attack line

What's a few dead pensioners, they won't vote Conservative next time.
Is this a riddle?
I give up, what's the answer to your riddle? For you it would seem so.

Fair enough. But the end result is the same. Dosh saved.Badly reported.

Yes, they say that the position is worse than anyone thought. And yes I do stand by the fact the IFS stated the real position about the finances because

Says the convicted felon and rapist supporter. You like liars...and you still voted for them ?

You and I are paying the price for Tory chums getting rich.![]()
Budget will be painful, Keir Starmer warns in Downing Street speech
The prime minister says he's inherited an "economic black hole" but the Tories say he campaigned on "promises he couldn't deliver".www.bbc.co.uk
Wait and see. They stated which ones they wont raise and from other comments it wont be corporation tax as well as those. They did state clearly that some taxes would be increased. So you agree that Labour lied about raising taxes
Well at least get their statement correct - both parties aware of the problem. Also recollect that prior to the election the IFS had a view concerning who ever got in - withdrawn as soon as the financial details came out.And yes I do stand by the fact the IFS stated the real position about the finances because I trust them, well ahead of all politicians

I din't think they did.So you agree that Labour lied about raising taxes

Clearly not. The rest is factual, troll. ReportedSo the whole of that post was meant to be a joke?![]()
