Anyone having problems with this tool supplier? I ordered a couple of thing 2 weeks ago with a supposed delivery date of 2/3 days. Been on the phone 3 times now, once for an hour! without getting to speak to anyone.

must have been sudden, at least to the staff , as i was getting emails for new produts right up to 18th Sept

News reports say 400+ staff all made redundant and a few staff are being kept on while they close the company
Real shame , Good customer service , always had an upbeat conversation with the sales staff, and when issues occurred (which they will as human) they sorted it out efficently.

really enjoyed the shows at Maidstone show ground , and purchased alot there as well as online

I guess my goto will be D&M tools now

I've used them a few times in the past also.
They were always extremely helpful.
Fortunately, the last time I bought some planer/thicknesser blades, from them, I bought several.
I was intending to buy a new filter bag for my dust extractor any time soon.

It's a shame there wasn't a closing down sale.
I suppose all stock will now be bought by one of the specialist liquidating buyers.

i had a wet/dry vac , dewalt battery/mains on my wish list for them bookmarked
as well as various other tools and accessories - all booked marked for a major - refurb of our utility room, fitting cupboards , boarding shelving etc

Sometimes other sellers manage to interfere with the supply chain from the source. Something I have come across several times. They come about due to discount based on numbers bought from the source which can make it harder for others to compete so those manage to put a stop to it.

This case - pass but it happens. If importing border force may be a reason for increased costs that haven't been accounted for as "features" seem to have been gradually extended. Have a set of rules etc announced but take time to apply them.

Used them early on, good website and free delivery back then. Amazon scrape the web for prices and that makes it more difficult for the independents to compete.
