Gosh you did well visiting 32,012 supermarkets all on one day.I found them in EVERY supermarket on EVERY day
So did you - and you didn’t find a tomato in any one of them. Poor Notch.Gosh you did well visiting 32,012 supermarkets all on one day.
That’s the only thing I was worried about before casting my vote. Turned out my fears were unfounded. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the naysayers. And that is a positive outcome of Brexit? Did you not have any tomatoes before then?
Not at all.And I'm sure you've noticed a lot of the fruit and veg, and dairy products don't last as long now

So, as far as tomatoes go, the Brexit bonus is that nothing has changed? I hadn't thought of that...That’s the only thing I was worried about before casting my vote. Turned out my fears were unfounded. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the naysayers.
Apart from the U.K. throwing millions in the EU pot, no.So, as far as tomatoes go, the Brexit bonus is that nothing has changed? I hadn't thought of that...

Amazing how all the supermarket chiefs and the trade press report it but it hasn't affected you or your area. Not at all.

Brexit bonus, he's still got the tomatoes available that he had before. But I still don't see any bonus if things are the same as before (they aren't)
Yep, feck all's changed except we ain’t paying millions to the EU, can’t stay over there more than 90 days in every 180 (who'd want to?) and they’re not free to pitch up here, work and abuse our health/education/housing etc services. On the other hand, we will soon have to pay nearly £2 a year for a visa to visit the EU….Amazing how all the supermarket chiefs and the trade press report it but it hasn't affected you or your area.

Mottie knows Brexit has done and continues to do considerable damage…..but the poor chap is so deep down the hole he has to keep telling himself everything is fineYep, feck all's changed except we ain’t paying millions to the
Thanks for the reminder. Now tell me how that actually affects you or me apart from having our passports stamped when we go on holiday.Let me remind Mottie of non tariff barriers:
Rules of origin checks
ATA carnets
restrictions on cabotage
sanitary and phytosanitary controls
transit documents
customs declarations.

Prices and dates on products is a daily thingThanks for the reminder. Now tell me how that actually affects you or me apart from having our passports stamped when we go on holiday.
Trick is, buy them with the longest date (from the back of the shelf) and eat them before the 'use by' date. It’s not hard, I’ve been doing it since I started buying my own shopping over 40 years ago. There’s nothing I buy in my weekly shop that will be out of date before I’ve eaten it.Prices and dates on products is a daily thing
