Not quoting posts when replying

TBH, it really annoys me when people do this.

It is almost as if they are trying to sneak a reply in so you don't see it.

Or maybe it is just laziness.
 
What I find frustrating is that to properly make sense of your reply when you quote a post it should also include the quote within that post. Like this
I am quoting stivinos post but it would make more sense if it also included his quote of MNW67.
To what post was that directed, you didn't quote it?

Not upset. Annoyed. Or maybe frustrated. There are a couple of posters who do it a lot. I believe they are displaying several of the traits which I really don't like. Cowardice, arrogance and bad manners.
 
I have the reverse view.

You can contribute to the thread in general or reply to the above post. You only need to quote if you are replying to a post further up.

For me there is too much quoting which leads to misquoting and petty trolling.
