Is it any wonder kids minds are fecked?

Labour have the choice to strengthen the meaning of 'sex' in the Equality Act by introducing the word 'biological' infront of it. This would give protection to women and girls spaces and sports so any old bloke couldn't help himself to medals or ogling an 8 year old getting undressed.

But they haven't. Labour introduced this legislation after all, which has and is being abused. Why won't they put it right?

Doesn't the word "sex" already have a specific legal meaning. Would adding "biological" just confuse things.

This is the one that annoys quite a lot of people, and before the do-gooders say 'no it doesn't', trust me if they're asked it does.

I don't care what folk say about all the gender neutral toilets around the world, imagine a young girl going to the toilet on her own e.g. restaurant, only for a man to follow shortly behind, camouflaged in a dress.

If going down this route we should have three options for toilets, changing rooms etc. Male, female, other.
Would you allow a young girl to use a mixed facility in France?

What is confusing about 'sex'?

Nothing! That's my point. It is the correct word to use legally. It doesn't need any qualification. Adding extra unnecessary words to legislation just causes confusion.

Agreed but the problem is, there is now 'legal sex' where one does not need to be of that biological sex to have 'legal sex' documents hence spaces which were just for one sex have essentially been turned into mixed sex.

Why won't Labour protect women and girls in the UK?

You think men should go into the toilets with little girls and laugh about it.

Sick. You're sick mate.
Please stop with the pathetic strawman.

Please explain how you would stop trans women going into female toilets or female changing rooms.

If you keep editing my posts, don't expect me to answer.

By banning one biological sex from entering and using the spaces designated for the other biological sex.

Why won't Labour protect women and girls?

What part of the Equality Act currently allows that? And what changes are you suggesting which would stop it? The Equality Act seems to be a big piece of legislation. This is the first time I have looked at it. Do you have examples of the sections and wording you are referring?

Which pieces of the Equality Act referring to the protected characteristic of sex are you referring to?

So to start with first principles. What prevents a cis man (you see I'm learning!) from going into a woman's changing room. Would that be some sort of criminal offence?
