Gino D'Acampo

Looks like we won't be seeing him on telly again. TBF I've not liked the bloke since I heard he broke into Paul Young's house and nicked his guitar. Thieving git.
I could never take to him in terms of his tv persona so it's no loss to me.

"The Trump fanboys ignore that the trial judge said he did, in fact, commit rape."

is intentionally misleading
Intentionally misleading my arse. He is renowned as a straight talking, no-nonsense judge. He could quite easily said nothing. Or he could have quite easily said he did not rape her. No, what renowned federal Judge Kaplan said was....

"....that the trial evidence demonstrated Trump "raped" Carroll in the plain sense of the word.

"The finding that Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was 'raped' within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump 'raped' her as many people commonly understand the word 'rape,'" Kaplan wrote. "Indeed, as the evidence at trial recounted below makes clear, the jury found that Mr. Trump in fact did exactly that....."

Trump, convicted felon and rapist.....liar, con man, swindler, crook, adulterer, scumbag.

You think he was making a casual comment?

Do you even understand what matter was before him that led to his comment.

I suggest you start a new thread.

I suggest you start a new thread.
So you can lie and deflect your way through that one too?

“A United States District Judge has now formally held, in a lengthy written opinion, that it is perfectly appropriate, and, indeed, entirely accurate, to call a certain former President of the United States a rapist,”

oof!

but not imply he is a convicted rapist.

That would be misleading.

After all he was never arrested, charged, tried or convicted of rape.

Kamala Harris was very careful how she phrased it. I think she said Trump had been "found liable for sexual assault".

If you're a woman employed in television and these things happen, you face the prospect of never working in the industry again if you complain, or just sucking it up, and moving on. They are not waiting until someone is brave enough to come forward and share their experience, but when or if it does happen they feel able to share theirs. Women are as likely to do this to protect other women from similar things happening, as they are to get justice for themselves.
Yep, it's never straightforward and I think with Saville (ok a different level granted but same principal) one or two women who knew at the time something was off with him admitted present day they were, at the time, conscious their careers could be ruined if they spoke out. So they kept quiet. Folk can argue about the rights or wrongs, however especially when young and if trying to build a career, it can no doubt be a tricky one.
